Mandatory tenant verification checklist
These are the minimum requirements completed before a tenant can request to book a room through EazyRoom.
Valid photo ID
A valid identity document is submitted for verification.
Clear profile photograph
The tenant adds a clear photograph to their EazyRoom profile.
Mobile number confirmed by SMS
Their mobile number is confirmed using a one-time SMS code.
Card in the tenant's own name
Payment is made securely using a card in the tenant's own name.
These checks are the minimum. Tenants are encouraged to complete additional trust items so hosts can make a better-informed decision.
Building greater trust

Tenants can add further evidence to strengthen their profiles. Every completed and reviewed trust signal is clearly shown with their booking request.
College or university evidence
Enrolment or acceptance information can support student status.
Employment evidence
A work email or employment evidence can add professional context.
Previous landlord reference
A previous landlord's details or written reference can be reviewed.
Social profiles
LinkedIn and other public profiles can provide additional context.
